Why Collective Wellness?
If you look up the word "collective" in the dictionary, you will find several definitions.
1. Done by people acting as a group
I believe that the therapeutic process is most successful when the client and the therapist are working as a team to create new insights and long-term change. I understand the importance of coordinating your care through interdisciplinary collaboration- acting as a cohesive group to achieve wellness.
2. Belonging or relating to all members of a group.
Life's challenges, mental illness, and family issues are common experiences, and you are not alone. Through this process we will normalize your struggles and increases sources of support.
3. Taken as a whole
Overall wellness must consider the person as a whole. Through this experience we will take into account your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health to work towards your overall wellness.

MSW, LCSW
My Clinical Background
I attended George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in
St. Louis, where I earned a Master's Degree. I started my career working at a residential substance abuse treatment center. During this time I obtained my clinical license and gained invaluable experience working with individuals battling addiction issues and anxiety, as well as other issues such as depression, relationship problems, and grief/loss.
I am dedicated to assisting clients in managing symptoms, changing behaviors, and reaching their goals. Research indicates that the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is the most influential factor in treatment progress. I strive to provide empathy, respect, and trust to ensure a lasting therapeutic alliance.
My Personal Story
My struggle with anxiety has been a lifelong battle. It has presented itself in a number of ways throughout the years such as excessive worry, obsessive thinking, and issues of self-worth and body dysmorphia. These symptoms led me to seek therapy services on numerous occasions. My history of mental health issues and the relief I have found in therapy allows me to connect with clients on a deeply emotional level. I enter the therapeutic relationship with an understanding of what it feels like to be a client asking for help.
My goal in sharing my personal story is to encourage others to share theirs. Healing is only possible with vulnerability. I am more than willing to share the details of my mental health journey if it is helpful for you. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions about my history with anxiety or my path to healing and wellness.
